HOMELESS

Taking the Wiki definition, "Homelessness categorizes the condition of people without a regular dwelling because they are unable to acquire, maintain regular, safe, and adequate housing, or lack "fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence".... but in my opinion this is a very aseptic way of looking at this problem.

Imagine for one second 100 million images like this.... just for one second; this was the UN - Human Rights estimate in 2005 of people living in these conditions in the world....

And the US is not foreign to this problem. More than 1 million homeless find home in the streets in this country.

Learn how you can help and DO something about it. It feels good !

Back on my blog!

It's been... what, 2 years? I can believe it. The important thing is that I'm back. I re-started again my "Photo of the Week" and will return to this page with my "Historias Sueltas".

For the time being, I just leave you with this image of a water fountain from the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul that I took last year. Who cares about hygienic considerations.... that spot is magic.... you see a fascinating and colorful "real world with real people" parading through your eyes!
